I’m Andy Wheeler and together with my partner Lorien, travel full time visiting the best road cycling destinations Europe has to offer, tackling some of the most notorious and unusual routes, climbs and Cols. Join us on our exploratory adventure and hopefully our experiences help you plan a future cycling trip.
We left the UK in Summer 2022 to spend more time doing the things we love, predominantly cycling. We’ve been on a journey south through Belgium, France, Italy, Croatia, Montenegro, Greece, Turkey and have dipped into a few other countries along the way. Over the coming months and years we plan to further our travels cycling in Scandinavian, Spain and Morocco as well as revisiting France and Italy.
We’re motivated by the outdoors and our travel destinations are predominantly guided by where’s best to cycle. We’ve undertaken some of the classic French alpine Cols as well as more obscure routes in the Balkans and blog about the most interesting and unique cycling experiences.
